Why Give to PassageWorks?
At no time have the stakes for educating our children been higher. Today’s students need to navigate and excel in a world of constant change, challenge, and uncertainty. Who will inspire our children to learn and develop the strong social and emotional skills they need? At PassageWorks, we believe the answer is clear: their teacher.
Effective, healthy schools are the key to the world we desire, and teachers play a central role. By offering coursework essential to today’s teachers, PassageWorks is transforming education from the inside out. Teachers and school leaders gain sophisticated skills and practices that serve to create culturally responsive classrooms and safe school communities where students thrive academically and socially.
The demand for our work is greater than ever. Your donation will allow us to expand the delivery of programs to teachers across the country, and positively impact the lives of thousands of students. Thank you for your support.

Three Ways You Can Help:
Rachael Kessler Teaching Presence Fund
Keep Rachael’s Legacy Alive.
The purpose of the Rachael Kessler Fund is to support PassageWorks’ Faculty in developing and expressing the fundamental insights of the “Teaching Presence” in their work with educators across the U.S. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to implement this Initiative to develop a powerful and effective national team of faculty dedicated to supporting educators. Capacity Building Fund
Make a Difference.
The Capacity Building Fund addresses the urgent need for program development and expansion of faculty and core staff at PassageWorks to meet the needs of an increasing number of schools in Colorado, California and across the U.S. Our goal is to raise $270,000 by January 2018. To date, we have successfully raised $145,000 towards that goal, but we still have a long way to go. Please click here to donate to the Capacity Building Fund.
Teacher Scholarship Fund
Support Teachers. Touch Many Lives.
The Teacher Scholarship Fund supports teachers who seek to attend PassageWorks’ professional development programs but lack personal or school funding. In this way, PassageWorks can reach educators and schools in under-resourced communities. Our courses provide teachers with important practices and tools that allow them to integrate social, emotional and academic learning and create relationship-based classrooms that are inclusive, meaningful and engaged. Excellent teachers don’t develop full-blown at graduation; nor are they just “born teachers” Instead, teachers are always in the process of “becoming.” They continually discover who they are and what they stand for, through their dialogue with peers, through ongoing and consistent study, and through deep reflection about their craft. ~ Sonia Nieto
