Half-day Mindfulness Retreats

These secular, silent retreats provide an opportunity to refresh and deepen your personal mindfulness practice. They are designed for alumni of SMART in Education 1, SMART in Education 2, and/or The Mindful Teacher as well as any educator with a personal mindfulness practice. Family members and friends of educators are also welcome.

Each retreat starts at 9:00am and ends at 1:00pm. It typically includes:

* Breath Awareness * Reflection * Body Scan * Mindful Movement * Mindful Walking * Kindness * Mindful Eating *

The sessions begin with introductions and end with spoken reflections.

We suggest wearing comfortable clothes and bringing layers for changing temperatures and outdoor walking when the weather permits. A water bottle and snacks for mindful eating are also recommended.

We do not charge for these retreats but suggest a $20 donation or whatever you feel is appropriate for you. We ask that you register online so that we can communicate any changes in venue or cancellations due to inclement weather.
